American Idol judges suck

Watched the Lennon/McCarthy American Idol tonight and I really didn't cringe as many times as I thought I would. I did however want to yell "Richie!!!!" at the top of my lungs when there was a La Bamba version of "Can't Buy Me Love." The biggest mess up of the night was when the judges went all haterlicious on the last performer which I thought was just about the coolest thing I've seen on that show all season. Hottie rocker boy, Lee, played a bluesy rock version of Hey Jude and right at the climax of the song, a bag-piper comes out of the smoke and jams along with the song. That was kick ass and they all made fun. They liked Lou Diamond Phillips though.
